Title: Effective Student Teamwork
Having students work in teams on class projects can be an effective way to have them achieve depth in a topic, while also developing collaboration and communication skills. However, good learning outcomes with teams do not happen automatically. Care must be given to the construction of project assignments, to preparing students for a teamwork environment, and to managing the process and providing appropriate feedback. This seminar will provide tips and guidance for teachers interested in introducing team-based assignments in their classes.
